Relief Team Leader Job Description

Mingara Events is seeking a skilled Relief Team Leader to join its dynamic event service team.

  • The successful candidate will have the opportunity to create lasting memories for guests, working closely with the Events Lead and supervising colleagues in the Event Service department.

The Relief Team Leader will be responsible for ensuring the smooth execution of all events by providing exceptional experiences for our guests. Key responsibilities include:

  • Engaging with guests to provide outstanding service, anticipating their needs and exceeding expectations.
  • Becoming the main point of contact for the Event host, communicating effectively and efficiently.
  • Building rapport with guests, identifying their needs and delivering tailored solutions.
  • Managing high-energy, fast-paced events operations, prioritizing tasks and maintaining a calm demeanor under pressure.
  • Assisting Events Hosts and Guests in finding solutions that meet their needs, utilizing available resources and promoting collaboration.

To succeed as a Relief Team Leader, you should possess:

  • Previous experience as a Team Leader or Supervisor in events/restaurant settings, with a proven track record of success.
  • An outgoing and inclusive personality, able to build strong relationships with guests and colleagues.
  • Efficient problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and creatively.
  • A flexible attitude, willing to work split shifts, late nights, weekends, and public holidays.
  • A current RSA and RCG certification, demonstrating your commitment to customer safety and satisfaction.
