Pathology Collector Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Pathology Collector to join our team. As a key member, you will be responsible for collecting samples with care and attention.

This includes:

  • Collecting blood and non-blood samples in a professional and efficient manner.
  • Maintaining accurate records for every patient and sample, ensuring that all necessary information is up-to-date and easily accessible.

The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and customer service skills, as well as strong time management and interpersonal skills.

You will work independently in a solo clinic, requiring confidence and self-motivation. In addition to your technical skills, you will possess empathy and understanding for patients, who may require specialized care or assistance.

Requirements

In this role, you will be required to demonstrate experience and knowledge in Phlebotomy or hold a Certificate III in Pathology Collection.

Additionally, you must provide evidence of vaccination against vaccine-preventable diseases, such as Hepatitis B and COVID-19.
