Job Description:

This is an opportunity to join a dynamic team as a Pathology Specimen Collector. The ideal candidate will be responsible for collecting pathology specimens with care and attention in a variety of settings.

  • Collect blood and non-blood samples from patients ensuring high-quality results are achieved.
  • Maintain accurate records for every patient and sample, adhering to strict guidelines and protocols.
  • Prepare and package specimens for transport and testing, guaranteeing they arrive at their destination in pristine condition.
About You:
  • Demonstrate exceptional empathy, communication, and customer service skills when interacting with patients.
  • Showcase strong time management, interpersonal, and organizational skills to effectively manage multiple tasks and responsibilities.
  • Display willingness and confidence to work independently in a solo clinic environment.
  • Possess evidence of vaccination against vaccine-preventable diseases, ensuring a safe working environment for all.
  • Hold relevant experience and knowledge in Phlebotomy or a Certificate III in Pathology Collection, which is highly advantageous for this role.
