Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Counter Fraud Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our fraud prevention and detection strategy, you will play a critical role in identifying and preventing fraudulent activity across our Home and Motor portfolios.

In this dynamic and fast-paced environment, you will work closely with internal and external stakeholders to develop and implement effective counter fraud measures, leveraging your expertise in fraud detection and prevention to drive business outcomes.

You will be responsible for analyzing complex data sets, identifying patterns and anomalies, and developing intelligence profiles to support fraud investigations. Your ability to think critically and strategically will be essential in driving the development and implementation of our counter fraud strategy.

About the Role

  • Develop and implement effective counter fraud measures to prevent and detect fraudulent activity.
  • Analyze complex data sets to identify patterns and anomalies and develop intelligence profiles to support fraud investigations.
  • Work closely with internal and external stakeholders to develop and implement business process improvements.
  • Contribute to the development and delivery of our counter fraud strategy.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in counter fraud.

Requirements

  • Working knowledge of general insurance underwriting is essential.
  • Organisational skills, ability to manage own workload and diary are essential.
  • Must have some fraud awareness.
  • Must be able to work well with others and as part of a team.
  • PC literate - Microsoft Office, Excel, PowerPoint etc.
  • Confident communicator.
  • Able to build relationships at all peer levels.
