About the Role:The successful applicant will be responsible for coordinating funeral arrangements, managing client communications, and ensuring a seamless experience for all involved. Key responsibilities include:
- Family Care:
- Handling incoming calls and enquiries with empathy and professionalism;
- Providing guidance and support to families throughout the funeral planning process;
- Co-ordinating the scheduling of funeral arrangements and consultations.
- Arrangement Co-ordination:
- Preparing necessary documents and paperwork for funeral arrangements;
- Managing the logistics of funeral services, including transportation and venue arrangements.
- Administrative Tasks:
- Maintaining accurate records and documentation;
- Preparing and distributing necessary reports.
- Team Co-ordination:
- Collaborating with funeral directors and other team members to ensure calm and organised operations;
- Assisting with staff scheduling and resource allocation.
The successful applicant will have a proven ability to prioritise and organise, with a positive disposition and excellent attention to detail. Strong customer service skills and empathy are essential. Some evening and weekend work may be included in your roster.
