Job Opportunity:

Leadership Role: Community Development Specialist

This position requires strong conceptual skills to develop an appropriate model with the ability to problem solve and implement a proof of concept within a 12-month period.

The successful candidate will lead the development and implementation of a community development strategy, fostering collaboration among internal and external stakeholders to ensure alignment with organizational goals.

The role involves leveraging skilled employees and volunteers to provide clients and community members with relevant services or connecting them to trusted partners and mainstream organizations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive community development model.
  • Consult and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to drive alignment and foster partnerships.
  • Provide strategic guidance to employees and volunteers to deliver exceptional service to clients and community members.

Required Qualifications:

  • Degree in Community Development, Business Management, Project Management, or related field.
  • At least 5 years' experience in community development project management.
  • Strong leadership qualities, assertiveness, and confidence to provide suggestions, constructive feedback, and promote change.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate across all levels of an organization.
  • Possess analytical skills, with the ability to analyze processes clearly and identify criteria for success.
