Job Title: Pipe Welder

We are seeking an experienced and skilled pipe welder to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for undertaking a variety of tasks and duties within the production team, including welding pipes using GTAW techniques.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Undertake tasks and duties as directed by Production Supervision and/or Trades Trainer within bounds of current competence.
  • Attend and complete relevant on-the-job training as required.
  • Properly maintain materials, tools and equipment.
  • Strive to continuously improve teamwork, processes and effectiveness in the work area.
  • Adhere to established policies and management practices.
Requirements:
  • Extensive experience of GTAW pipe welding techniques.
  • Isometric drawing knowledge.
  • Strong safety focus and ability to enhance the site safety environment.
  • Strong time-keeping abilities.
  • Excellent communication, influencing and interpersonal skills.
  • Defence security clearance is required; applicants must be Australian citizens and either possess or be eligible to obtain and maintain appropriate clearances.
