The Queensland Government's Community Recovery team is seeking an experienced professional to support the delivery of procurement and grant management processes in the human and social services sector.

We are looking for a highly skilled individual who can establish and manage long-term recovery and resilience programs to support communities affected by disaster events.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough market analysis and planning to inform commissioning and investment decisions.
  • Develop and implement governance procedures for procurement negotiation requirements, including secretariat roles for assessment panels.
  • Design and ensure high-level governance practices in procurement and grant documentation, ensuring compliance with legislation, investment specifications, and departmental policies and procedures.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in procurement and grant management processes with strong financial acumen.

  • Experience with procurement and grant management systems is desirable.
