Job Title: Familysupport Specialist

We are seeking an experienced and passionate Family Support Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our outreach program, you will work closely with families and young people to provide individualized support and help them achieve their goals.

Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Providing intensive family support and case management services to families and young people in need;
  • Developing and implementing comprehensive case plans that address the unique needs of each family;
  • Collaborating with other service providers to ensure seamless delivery of services;
  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records of client interactions and progress;
  • Participating in regular meetings with the program manager to discuss client outcomes and program effectiveness.

To be successful in this role, you will possess:

  • A minimum of 2 years experience working with children and young people in a similar capacity;
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients from diverse backgrounds;
  • Excellent case management and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks and manage time effectively;
  • A strong understanding of child and youth development principles, including the importance of early intervention and prevention;
  • The ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a flexible and adaptable approach to meeting the changing needs of clients.
