">About the RoleDeliver personalized care and support services to meet the individual needs of clients, ensuring their comfort, dignity, and well-being at all times.
Collaborate closely with registered nurses and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless delivery of client-specific care, including personal hygiene, toileting, nutrition, mobility, and more.
Conduct thorough assessments to identify client care needs and develop effective care plans that cater to their unique requirements.
Develop strong relationships with clients, their families, and caregivers by communicating effectively and empathetically, responding to concerns, and providing ongoing support.
Participate in regular team meetings to discuss client progress, share knowledge, and receive guidance from experienced colleagues.
Key Qualifications and Requirements:
- Cert III in Aged Care/Disability (or equivalent)
- Current Senior First Aid, CPR, and Manual Handling certifications
- Valid driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle
- Strong expertise in mental health care
- Ability to work flexibly and travel as needed
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Knowledge of relevant legislation and standards for home care
- Commitment to safety, infection control, and emergency procedures
