About Our In-Home Care Services

As a Support Worker with Silver Chain Group, you will have the opportunity to provide care and support to clients in their own homes. You will work autonomously, travelling from home to home, and be responsible for delivering exceptional care and support to our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Delivering personal care tasks, including showering, grooming, toileting, etc.
  • Providing medication assistance, meal preparation, domestic assistance/general housekeeping tasks, and social support in the community.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Certificate III in Aged Care, Individual Support, HACC, Disability is highly desirable.
  • At least 3 months of relevant care worker experience for those with a relevant Certificate.
  • At least 6+ months of relevant care worker experience (FTE) for those without a relevant Certificate.
  • A valid Drivers' License with unrestricted access to a registered vehicle which is appropriately insured and in good condition.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Benefits:

  • $36.08 per hour + super P/T , plus shift penalty rates apply.
  • Travel allowance of $1.03 per km.

  • 4-6 weeks Annual Leave per year, with ability to purchase up to 4 weeks additional leave per year.
