Job Title: Freight Train Driver Opportunity

We are seeking experienced freight train drivers to join our team in Goulburn, the Southern Highlands and Tablelands.

As a key member of our operations team, you will play a crucial role in providing safe and efficient train services by:

  • Assisting with freight haulage tasks and ensuring timely delivery
  • Preparing and provisioning locomotives and wagons for optimal performance
  • Performing minor fault repairs and failure rectifications to maintain operational systems
  • Undertaking routine maintenance tasks to ensure all equipment is in good working order
  • Conducting yourself in a professional manner with a strong focus on customer satisfaction and safety

To be successful in this role, you must possess the following qualifications and skills:

  • Certificate IV in Rail Operations with evidence of units of competence successfully attained
  • Current NSW Safeworking Qualifications or equivalent
  • Evidence of route qualifications and/or experience in rail transport
  • Category 1 Rail Safety Workers Medical Certificate or willingness to obtain one
  • Current National Police Check or willingness to obtain one
  • A high level of literacy, numeracy and comprehension skills to effectively communicate with colleagues and customers
  • A commitment to a culture of safety and a customer-focused approach
