Train Driver Positions Available

We are seeking experienced Freight Train Drivers to provide safe, effective and efficient train operations in our region.
- Main Responsibilities:
- Assist with freight haulage tasks according to relevant policies and procedures
- Prepare and provision locomotives and wagons for train operations by following established protocols
- Perform minor fault repairs and failure rectifications on-site
- Undertake maintenance tasks and assist rolling-stock maintainers to validate the integrity of rolling stock (including brakes), and ensure all operational systems are safe and effective
- Conduct oneself in a professional manner with a strong customer focus
- Maintain a commitment to established processes and risk management with the objective of zero injuries
- Certificate IV Rail Operations - provide evidence of successfully attained units of competence
- Current or previous NSW Safeworking Qualifications
- Evidence of route qualifications/experience
- Category 1 Rail Safety Workers Medical or willingness to obtain one
- Current National Police Check or willingness to obtain one
- A high level of literacy, numeracy and comprehension skills
- A commitment to a safety culture, and a customer-focused attitude
- Professionalism, integrity, reliability and a positive mindset
- Relocation assistance available for the right candidate
The successful applicant will be responsible for delivering train operations in a safe, effective and efficient manner.
