Overview of the Role

We are seeking a skilled Cleaning and Maintenance Specialist to join our Housekeeping team at Mantra Twin Towns Hotel & Apartments.

Mantra Twin Towns Hotel & Apartments is located on the beautiful Gold Coast/Northern NSW border, overlooking Coolangatta Beach. Our property offers a range of hotel-style rooms and apartments, as well as pools for guests to enjoy. In your downtime, experience the laid-back lifestyle of the Southern Gold Coast and Tweed Heads region.

Key Responsibilities
  • E nsure the property always looks its best, both inside and out, by maintaining high cleanliness and presentation standards.
  • Spruce up indoor and outdoor public areas, including the pool, gym, and shared bathrooms, with attention to detail.
  • Support room attendants with room cleaning and linen removal as needed, demonstrating flexibility and teamwork.
  • Handle specialized equipment and chemicals safely, prioritizing the well-being of staff and guests.
  • Provide exceptional guest service, addressing inquiries and security matters promptly, and collaborating with other departments to achieve tasks.
  • Act as the eyes and ears for maintenance and guest services teams, reporting any issues quickly, from maintenance problems to damaged equipment and missing items.
Requirements
  • Previous experience in a similar role, such as cleaner/room attendant/public areas attendant, is highly valued.
  • Develop a warm and welcoming communication style, making both guests and team members feel at ease.
  • Show an eye for detail, working efficiently and managing time well to take pride in tasks.
  • Be adaptable and physically fit to work in internal and external environments, including staircases and uncovered areas.
  • Enjoy collaborating with colleagues from diverse backgrounds.
  • Embrace a flexible rotating schedule, including nights, overnights, weekends, and public holidays as required.
