Comprehensive Support Specialist

Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and proactive Administrative Professional to provide comprehensive administrative support to our team.
The ideal candidate will have a Certificate III in Business Administration or equivalent, with demonstrated experience and skills in administration, as well as a strong understanding of The Salvation Army's mission and values.
The successful applicant will be responsible for providing general administrative support, including screening and actioning incoming calls and mail, maintaining office requirements, and coordinating travel and accommodation bookings.
In addition, the role involves purchasing office supplies, preparing content for divisional communications, and processing divisional invoices.
The successful applicant will also be involved in the logistical management and implementation of events within the division, working collaboratively with the broader team to ensure administration needs and processes are supported.
The role is crucial in supporting our team's efforts to make a real difference in the lives of people who need help most.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide general administrative support to the team.
- Screen and action incoming calls and mail.
- Maintain office requirements, including pool car booking and servicing.
- Coordinate travel and accommodation bookings.
- Purchase office supplies.
- Prepare content for divisional communications.
- Process divisional invoices.
- Assist in the logistical management and implementation of events within the division.
Requirements:
- Certificate III in Business Administration or equivalent.
- Demonstrated experience and skills in administration.
- Strong understanding of The Salvation Army's mission and values.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
