We are seeking a dedicated individual to join our team on a Casual basis. This position will assist participants and school leavers in achieving their employment goals and social inclusion under the National Disability Insurance Scheme.
Key Responsibilities:- Build professional relationships with participants at various stages of their employment journey.
- Provide a positive and supportive environment for individuals with disability to help them reach their employment goals.
- Create individual support plans and 12-week plans outlining participants' journeys towards finding and sustaining employment.
- Identify opportunities that enable individuals to reach their potential as valued members of their community, aligned with NDIS goals, including work experience activities.
- Facilitate individual and group activities using enabling styles such as job readiness skills, volunteering, and confidence building.
- Ensure efficiency and compliance with administrative processes according to organisational policies, procedures, legislative requirements, and guidelines from the National Disability Insurance Agency.
- Maintain data integrity and efficiently manage workload by prioritising tasks and ensuring all work is completed within designated time frames.
To be successful in this role, we require an individual with the ability to work autonomously and be self-motivated. They should possess initiative and problem-solving skills, resilience, and patience when working with complex behaviours. A reliable vehicle with comprehensive car insurance is also required.
