Job Summary

The Haematology Registrar role at JPS Medical is an exciting opportunity for a medical professional to develop their skills in haematology and medical oncology. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing the care of haematology inpatients, outpatients, and consults, working closely with consultant staff and other healthcare professionals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide high-quality patient care, including medical assessment and clinical management.
  • Collaborate with the cancer center team to deliver comprehensive care to patients.
  • Participate in haematology-specific educational meetings and multidisciplinary discussions.
  • Contribute to the development of policies and procedures to improve patient care.

Requirements

  • MBBS or equivalent degree enabling registration with AHPRA.
  • Experience working as a senior resident medical officer (PGY3+) or medical registrar.
  • Demonstrated appropriate level experience and skills in the medical assessment and clinical management of patients.
  • Ability to operate in an environment of change.
  • Ability to work as part of a team as well as independently (under supervision).
