About the Role

As a member of the Haematology team at St Vincent’s Hospital Melbourne, you will be responsible for providing expert scientific pathology services with a focus on general haematology. This includes demonstrating leadership skills, supervising and training staff, and participating in work activities across all areas of haematology.

Key Responsibilities

  • Providing high-quality scientific pathology services with a focus on general haematology
  • Demonstrating an active leadership role within the department
  • Providing supervision and training to staff, and participating in work activities across all areas of haematology

Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science or equivalent
  • 10 years’ experience in haematology
  • Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills
  • Proven history of leadership and staff development
  • Current National criminal history check or willingness to obtain
