About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Strategic Advisor to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will play a critical role in delivering strategic, data-driven, and commercially sound advice to customers across the energy, resources, chemicals, and infrastructure sectors.

Your primary responsibility will be to apply a blend of problem-solving and communication skills to guide customers in addressing complex challenges, unlocking value, and making informed investment and business decisions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Commercial Analysis: Perform detailed commercial analysis with minimal oversight.
  • Problem-Solving: Structure and execute problem-solving approaches using structured and analytical techniques.
  • Deliverables: Develop high-quality deliverables including reports, presentations, and briefing packs.
  • Workstream Leadership: Lead discrete workstreams and manage associated scope, budget, and timelines.
  • Customer Engagement: Facilitate customer engagements and contribute to solution development. Escalate out-of-scope issues and manage stakeholder expectations professionally.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in engineering, economics, business, finance, or related discipline.
  • Relevant years of experience in consulting, strategy, or within large corporates and asset-intensive industries (e.g. energy, infrastructure, resources).
  • Candidates with dual qualifications have an advantage.
  • Exposure to energy transition, resources, infrastructure, or ESG highly desirable.
  • Clear communication, both written and verbal, to engage stakeholders at all levels.
  • Strong commercial and strategic acumen to translate data into actionable insights.
