Job Summary

We are seeking a seasoned Program Specialist to join our team.

  • This is a senior-level role that requires extensive experience in project management, with a focus on delivering complex projects on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.

The key to success in this position lies in your ability to:

  • Work effectively in a fast-paced environment with multiple stakeholders and priorities.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers and internal teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain overall responsibility for the delivery of complex projects to the required quality, schedule, and budget.
  • Ensure delivery of project is on time, within scope with zero or positive deviation.
  • Manage the contractual requirements of the project to ensure exposure is minimised and controlled through timely responses and internal escalation.
  • Maintain customer satisfaction at target levels.
  • Developing trust and managing the relationship with customers ensuring a shared understanding of key issues between all parties is maintained.
  • Identify and pursue further business opportunities with the customer.
  • Ownership of the financial performance of the project and control billing and costs for the project.
  • Provide regular and accurate estimates at completion of costs for the project.
  • Controls cost and maximise productivity through the implementation of effective methods, standard processes, and engagement of supply Chain team.
  • Ensure the design solution is fit for purpose in meeting the project requirements with the lowest cost of delivery.
  • Drive the project team to minimise the cost of labor in delivering a successful project using low-cost resources while minimising defects and rework.

Qualifications/Experience/Knowledge:

  • Bachelor of Engineering.
  • Project Management Professional Certification or more than 5 years' PM experience.
  • Further education in management or project management would also be advantageous.
  • Must hold a valid and unrestricted driver's licence and have access to a motor vehicle to travel to sites.
  • Rail experience preferred but not essential.
  • Maintain up to date immunisations as needed.
  • 8+ years' HVAC and BMS experience.
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience managing projects including budget ownership/management, resource allocation, scheduling, forecasting, and planning.
