Job Description

We are seeking a seasoned Project Manager to oversee and manage HVAC projects within the building and construction industry.

This is a pivotal role where you will be responsible for ensuring timely and efficient project delivery, managing budgets, resources, and timelines, while identifying and mitigating risks, issues, and challenges that may impact project delivery.

You will work closely with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams to foster strong relationships and provide regular updates.

A key aspect of this role is leading and mentoring junior project managers, providing guidance and support to develop their skills and capabilities.

Additionally, you will contribute to the continuous improvement of our project management processes and procedures.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage day-to-day operations of multiple HVAC projects
  • Develop and implement detailed project plans
  • Identify and mitigate risks, issues, and challenges
  • E nsure compliance with all relevant safety, environmental, and quality standards
  • Foster strong relationships with clients and stakeholders
  • Lead and mentor junior project managers
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of project management processes
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Minimum 5 years of demonstrated experience as a Project Manager in the HVAC industry
  • Proven track record of successfully delivering complex HVAC projects
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills
  • Proficient in the use of project management software and tools
  • Tertiary qualification in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field
  • Membership or accreditation with a professional industry body (e.g. AIRAH, HVAC&R Society)
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and mentor junior team members
