Part-time Farm Hand Position

We are seeking a reliable and skilled individual to join our team in a part-time farm hand role.

This position is available at our breeder farm located in Cobbitty, working by roster, typically 2-3 days a week, 6:30am to 2:30pm, and Saturdays and Sundays, 6:30am to 10:30am.

As a farm hand, you will report directly to the Farm Manager and be responsible for various tasks including egg collection, cleaning and grading of eggs, feeding ducks, and maintaining sheds and equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collection of eggs from laying sheds
  • Cleaning and grading of eggs
  • Feeding ducks and ensuring drinking water is fully accessible at all times
  • Cleaning and maintaining sheds and equipment

Requirements:

  • Basic farming experience preferred but not essential
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
  • Physically fit and energetic

Biosecurity Requirements:

  • Due to strict biosecurity constraints, we cannot consider applicants with birds or pigs of any variety at their place of residence or regular contact with any type of birds or pigs.
