RSM Australia is seeking a skilled SMSF Accountant to join our team in Gosford. As a key member of our SMSF processing division, you will play a significant role in processing compliance work for SMSFs and assisting other team members.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Preparing SMSF work papers and financial statements in accordance with current legal and accounting standards;
  • Liaising with the SMSF Auditor and resolving queries as they arise;
  • Identifying relevant accounting and compliance issues;
  • Preparing documents for client meetings and assisting with client meetings as required;
  • Complying with lodgement programs by meeting deadlines and requirements.

Essential qualifications include a Business/Commerce degree with an Accounting major, and 1-2 years of experience in a similar role. Desirable qualifications include completion of a CA or equivalent, and a SMSF specialist course.
