Job Description

As a seasoned professional, you will lead the development and implementation of asset management strategies, plans, and policies to drive business growth and sustainability.

You will maintain a financially sustainable, data-driven asset management system that fosters efficient decision-making and supports long-term strategic planning.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing the asset register with accurate condition, GIS, and financial data
  • Coordinating annual renewal planning and 10-year investment programs
  • Overseeing asset data collection and condition assessments
  • Providing expert advice and reporting on asset performance and lifecycle management
  • Driving system improvements, training, and process documentation
Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Tertiary qualification in Engineering, Asset Management, or a related discipline
  • Proven experience in developing Asset Management Plans and managing asset systems
  • Strong skills in GIS and asset data analysis
  • Experience with capitalisation, asset valuation, and long-term investment planning
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder engagement skills
  • Strong leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities
  • Ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines
  • Proactive, flexible, and committed to continuous improvement
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office; experience with Technology One desirable
