We are seeking an experienced Lighting Technical Director to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for owning and lighting computer-generated imagery (CGI) sequences from concept to final output.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Owning and lighting CGI sequences from concept to final output.
  • Leading teams and driving projects to successful completion.
  • Ensuring shots are finalized on schedule while troubleshooting issues such as noise, render times, and memory usage within modern path-tracing renderers.
  • Interpreting creative direction, establishing the mood and look for visual effects (VFX) sequences.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 6+ years of experience in high-end feature film VFX production.
  • Showreel demonstrating experience in shot lighting and rendering on high-quality productions.
  • Experience troubleshooting pipeline issues.
  • Extensive experience in modern path tracers like Prman, Vray, Clarisse, Arnold or other.
  • Extensive experience using 3D software – Maya, Houdini, Katana and Nuke.

  • Possess a keen eye for composition and color.
  • Organized, pro-active and a self-starter.
  • Able to take direction.
