Job Summary

A Visual Effects Lighting Director owns and lights complex computer-generated sequences from concept to final output. The role requires strong technical skills for setting up scenes, leading teams, and driving projects to successful completion.

The ideal candidate will have experience in shot lighting and rendering on high-quality productions, with a solid understanding of art, design, and film lighting techniques.

Responsibilities include overseeing the Lighting production process, ensuring shots are finalized on schedule, and troubleshooting issues such as noise, render times, and memory usage within modern path-tracing renderers.

Requirements
  • 6+ years of experience in high-end Feature Film VFX production
  • Experience in using 3D software – Maya, Houdini, Katana and Nuke
  • Ability to meet deadlines while retaining a high quality of work
