We are seeking an experienced Senior Lighting Technical Director to join our team. As a key member of our lighting department, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality visual effects on live-action feature films.

About the Role

This is a challenging and rewarding opportunity for a skilled lighting artist who is passionate about film and has a strong technical background. You will work closely with our lighting leads and supervisors to achieve the highest quality on VFX projects, pushing industry standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of 3D computer graphics, including art, design, and film lighting principles.
  • Collaborate with experienced lighting teams to deliver high-end visual effects on live-action feature films.
  • Maintain a good working knowledge of production software, including Maya and/or Houdini and/or Solaris.
Requirements
  • Minimum of 6 years of experience in the VFX industry as a lighting artist on high-end live-action feature films.
  • Production experience with ray tracing or path tracing renderers.
  • Showreel demonstrating experience in shot lighting and rendering on high-quality productions.
  • Experience troubleshooting pipeline issues.
