About the Role

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide individual and group guidance sessions to students, utilizing evidence-based strategies to address mental health needs and promote positive behaviors.
  • Work with schools to develop and implement strategies that foster student wellbeing, academic achievement, and social-emotional learning.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices, improve outcomes for students from diverse backgrounds and needs, and contribute to a culture of excellence.
  • Administer cognitive, social, emotional, and behavioral assessments to identify areas for improvement and develop targeted interventions that support student success.


Requirements
  • A commitment to promoting diversity, equity, and inclusion in education, ensuring all students have access to quality learning opportunities.
  • General or Provisional Psychology Registration with the relevant professional board.
  • A valid Working with Children Check clearance, demonstrating a commitment to student safety and well-being.
  • A current and valid driver's licence, with willingness to travel between work sites and engage in community outreach activities.
