About This Opportunity

This role offers a unique chance to make a positive impact on the lives of those who require support

You will be the first point of contact for community members, providing a warm welcome and safe space to connect with others

Key tasks include assisting with material aid emergency relief, offering refreshments, helping with food pantry and providing connection and support

You will work across all site-based aspects of support, including community connection, distribution of financial assistance and referral to other services

A friendly smile and genuine interest in people's wellbeing are essential for this role

Requirements
  • Confidence meeting new people and connecting with community members
  • Previous experience in customer service or social settings is desirable
  • Basic computer skills may be required for administration tasks

Protecting children and young people from harm is a top priority. Child related roles require a Working with Children Check.
