Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with key stakeholders to discuss and develop mine plan inputs, review mining sequences, and produce a set of plan outputs that enable the operations team to understand and value the mine plan.
- Participate in site safety routines and demonstrate a proactive safety culture.
- Deliver a weekly mine schedule to maximize value and meet business objectives.
- Communicate equipment interactions and enabling activities in the mine schedule.
- Deliver a weekly haulage plan to the operations team.
- Monitor monthly compliance to plan and design compliance.
- Integrate the weekly mine schedule into a rolling 18-month mine plan.
Requirements:
- Tertiary education in mining engineering or equivalent.
- Experience working as a mining engineer.
- Strong working knowledge of Spry, Deswik, 3D Dig (preferred but not essential).
- Exceptional communication skills.
- High levels of organizational, time management, and problem-solving skills.
