About the Role

Acumen Health is seeking a highly skilled and experienced ADF Rehabilitation Consultant to join our team on a locum basis. As a subject matter expert, you will work across various ADF bases across Australia, providing expert rehabilitation services to support the recovery and return to work of ADF personnel.

Key Responsibilities
  • Apply clinical reasoning skills to support ADF personnel with physical and/or psychological injuries
  • Perform assessments and develop rehabilitation plans to promote recovery and return to work
  • Collaborate with stakeholders, including medical specialists, treatment providers, and allied health professionals
  • Monitor and evaluate service delivery outcomes, ensuring a person-centred focus and goal setting
Requirements
  • Current unrestricted registration or membership with the relevant industry body
  • Tertiary qualifications in Occupational Therapy, Physiotherapy, Exercise Physiology, Psychology, Rehabilitation Counselling, Nursing, Osteopathy, or Social Work
  • Strong clinical reasoning and passion for helping people rehabilitate
  • Ability to work 07:30 – 15:30 across various ADF bases across Australia
  • Ability to engage across multidisciplinary teams to support the achievement of a common goal
  • 12 months occupational rehabilitation experience
  • Australian Citizenship
