Analytical Chemistry Quality Control Specialist

Position Overview
We are on the lookout for a QC Chemistry Analyst who possesses strong communication abilities and is self-driven. This position reports directly to the QC Team Leader and is tasked with the analysis of raw materials and finished goods. This is a full-time contractual position with potential for extension for the right individual.
The ideal candidate will be expected to work from Sunday to Thursday, thus flexibility for weekend shifts is essential. Comprehensive training will be provided, scheduled from Monday to Friday.
Key Responsibilities
- Conducting inspection and acceptance testing of raw materials and licensed products
- Performing QC testing of raw materials utilizing various techniques such as HPLC, GC-MS, physical testing of components, AAS, UV-Vis, and wet chemistry methods
- Logging test samples in LIMS as applicable
- Updating Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and testing methodologies
- Calibrating instruments, standards, and controls
- Assisting in the maintenance and organization of quality records and procedures
- Completing all documentation accurately as per training relevant to the work area
- Ensuring that containers, materials, samples, and products are stored and labeled according to specifications, completing all necessary documentation
- Maintaining basic stock or document control for all items in accordance with procedures
Candidate Profile
- Bachelor's degree in Chemistry or a related field
- Proven experience in a GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice) environment
- Experience with HPLC and wet chemistry techniques, including UV-Vis and AAS
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team
