Position Overview
We are in search of a QC Chemistry Analyst who possesses strong communication abilities and a self-driven attitude. This position reports directly to the QC Team Leader and involves the evaluation of raw materials and finished products. This is a full-time contractual position with potential for extension for the right individual.
The selected candidate will be expected to work from Sunday to Thursday, thus flexibility for weekend shifts is essential. Comprehensive training will be provided, scheduled from Monday to Friday.
Key Responsibilities
- Conducting inspection and acceptance testing of raw materials and licensed products
- Performing QC analysis of raw materials utilizing various methodologies such as HPLC, GC-MS, physical component testing, AAS, UV-Vis, and wet chemistry techniques
- Logging test samples in LIMS as applicable
- Updating standard operating procedures (SOPs) and testing methodologies
- Calibrating instruments, standards, and controls
- Assisting in the maintenance and organization of quality records and protocols
- Completing all relevant documentation accurately as per training received
- Ensuring proper storage and labeling of containers/materials/samples/products in accordance with specifications, along with necessary documentation
- Maintaining basic inventory or document control for all items as per established procedures
Candidate Profile
- Bachelor's degree in Chemistry or a related field
- Proven experience in a GMP environment
- Experience with HPLC and wet chemistry techniques including UV-Vis and AAS
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team
