About the Role:
The successful candidate will be responsible for performing quality control testing in the Biochemistry lab, including blood assays. This is an excellent opportunity for a Quality Control Specialist to work within the Biochemistry lab to join a leading global pharmaceutical organization to further develop their skills and experience within a QC environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform assays (including blood) for the Quality Control Team.
- Complete scheduled routine analytical tasks in accordance with test procedures, SOPs, and GMP standards.
- Collect samples and ensure all samples are inputted into the LIMS system, ensuring all are documented as per procedures.
- Participate in the investigation of OOS and invalid results.
- Assist with updated documentation in accordance with cGMP standards.
- Maintain stock take duties and maintenance of the laboratory.
Requirements:
- Tertiary qualifications in Science/Pharmaceuticals.
- Knowledge and experience in GMP and GLP.
- Sound experience with assays including blood.
- Experience in working in a QC lab performing tests.
- Experience in sample collection and receipts using LIMS.
- Able to work independently and a quick learner.
- Able to follow procedures.
