Job Overview

We are seeking a seasoned Liquor Buyer to curate exceptional ranges, shape promotions and foster strong supplier partnerships.

The ideal candidate will drive sales, margin and growth in our stores across NSW, ACT & QLD.

About the Role

This key position is responsible for leading liquor buying across multiple locations, supported by gourmet and fresh food ranges.

You will set smart pricing and promotions that delight customers and deliver results.

A key aspect of this role is building and maintaining strong supplier relationships.

Innovate with new products and category strategies to stay ahead of the market.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Liquor buying and merchandising.
  • Pricing and promotion strategy.
  • Supplier relationship management.
  • Cross-functional collaboration.
Required Skills
  • Proven experience in liquor buying or FMCG buying (liquor preferred).
  • Strong commercial acumen with P&L exposure.
  • A passion for food and liquor, and a keen eye for trends.
  • Collaboration, agility and a proactive approach.
  • Solid understanding of supply and demand dynamics.
  • Proficiency in Excel and computer systems.
