The Quality Assurance Coordinator role involves overseeing the day-to-day quality standards of the production area and team, adhering to organisational procedures and regulatory requirements.
Main Responsibilities:- Develop and manage Quality Systems and processes in line with organisational standards.
- Lead, motivate and develop a high-performing culture and employee resources for the site, focusing on quality excellence.
- Create and implement internal auditing programmes for food safety and quality assurance.
- Collaborate with external auditors to ensure compliance with company policies and business processes.
- Maintain strong relationships with peers, sales functions, head office departments, suppliers and customers.
- Degree in Food Technology or Science.
- A minimum of 3 years' experience in Quality Assurance roles, preferably in high-care environments.
- Strong understanding of legislative requirements for safety, quality, environment, security and insurance.
- Excellent leadership skills and ability to positively influence people and drive change independently or through teamwork.
