Job Description:

The successful candidate will lead the delivery of second-line assurance as part of the Risk Assurance Plan. This pivotal role ensures high-quality risk and assurance services in the aged and disability sector.

This is a full-time position offered on a permanent contract based in our Coolangatta office. As a Risk and Assurance Specialist, you will:

  • Lead, support and strengthen the three lines of defense model within Feros Care.
  • Promote ongoing continuous improvement across Feros Care services in alignment with the Quality and Risk Management Systems.
  • Provide analysis and reports on the adequacy and effectiveness of operational risk management.
  • Assist the Head of Risk and Assurance and the team to monitor the Three Lines of Defence and wider assurance functions.
  • Support the revision of policy and procedures relating to risk and assurance functions.
Required Skills and Qualifications:

You'll require a degree in health, business or related field, or experience working in a similar role in the health sector. You'll also need a Certificate IV in Compliance and Risk Management and/or Diploma in Quality Auditing.
