Geospatial Developer Role Summary
\This role is designed for a highly skilled geospatial developer who will be responsible for designing and customizing Physical Network Inventory (PNI) tools within an Agile delivery framework.
\The successful candidate will collaborate closely with solution architects and technical leads to understand requirements, document low-level designs, develop and unit test features, and work with vendors to ensure the solution is deployed in accordance with the defined architecture.
\- Contribute to the end-to-end delivery lifecycle of complex and large-scale Physical Network Inventory systems.
- Deliver hands-on experience on delivery lifecycle of initiatives.
- Provide strong customer services focus with an ability to respond to changing customer priorities.
The ideal candidate will have knowledge of geospatial technology, Physical Network Inventory, networking, and network analytics. They will also have proficiency in Python with advanced libraries like Pandas and Numpy, as well as experience with geospatial software and spatial databases.
\Key Skills and Qualifications\- 5+ years of Python development experience.
- Good understanding of IronPython and ActiveMQ.
- Experience with GIT, CI/CD, Jenkins, Kubernetes, Docker preferred.
- Prior experience with AWS technologies (e.g., Lambda).
- Ability to update and maintain test suite using PyTest.
- Working knowledge of Agile lifecycle management tools like JIRA/Confluence.
