Highway Program Manager

The Bruce Highway Targeted Safety Program is a major initiative to reduce crash severity and frequency on the highway between Gympie and Cairns.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and implement a project plan to achieve program objectives, ensuring timely delivery of results.
- Manage program progress through regular reporting and monitoring, identifying areas for improvement.
- Ensure value for money is achieved by effectively managing resources and contracts.
- Maintain strong relationships with stakeholders and communicate effectively with senior management, providing timely updates on project status.
As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for delivering results that meet or exceed program objectives. This will involve collaborating with the broader BHTSP teams to ensure consistency of delivery and technical practices across the program.
Additional responsibilities include investigating and resolving complex engineering and contractual issues associated with the program, as well as maintaining open communication channels with stakeholders.
Qualifications and Skills- A strong track record of delivering projects within budget and timeframe, with experience in managing multiple stakeholders and vendors.
- Excellent leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and guide a team of professionals towards achieving shared goals.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve complex technical issues.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
