About The Role

We are seeking a mature and confident Senior Administrator who is respectful, empathetic, and able to build strong rapport with Traditional owners. In this position, you will be responsible for developing and implementing relevant policies, providing training to personnel, taking minutes, and producing board documentation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement effective policies that support operational efficiency and align with the organisation's commitment to community engagement and Indigenous employment.
  • Design and deliver comprehensive training programs for personnel, focusing on skills development, safety protocols, and cultural awareness.
  • BUILD AND MAINTAIN STRONG RELATIONSHIPS WITH TRADITIONAL OWNERS AND INDIGENOUS COMMUNITIES THROUGH ONGOING DIALOGUE, COLLABORATION ON PROJECTS, AND ENSURING THEIR VOICES ARE CONSIDERED IN DECISION-MAKING PROCESSES.
  • Explore opportunities to diversify services offered in asset management, fleet hire, and machinery maintenance, while ensuring alignment with the organisation's core values and objectives.
Requirements
  • A minimum three years' work experience in detailed administrative and personal/executive assistant roles.
  • Excellent attention to detail, written and verbal English communication skills.
  • Ability to maintain calendars and schedule appointments.
  • Keen to seamlessly integrate software for the benefit of business improvement initiatives.
  • Capacity to compose and edit written materials, including for marketing and social media release.
  • Manage multiple projects and responsibilities at once; with the ability to meet deadlines.
  • Possesses time, organisation, and stress management skills in a flexible manner.
  • Strong commitment to the organisation's goals and vision for the wider community.
  • Possesses cultural awareness and sensitivity, including age, gender, and Indigenous diversity.
  • Proficient with MS Office Suite, especially Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, with an ability to become familiar with business-specific programs and software.
  • A fun, lively personality, and someone who thrives working in a dynamic team environment.
  • Must have full rights to work within Australia.
