Senior Software Architecture Leader

We're looking for an experienced leader to play a key role in delivering complex software-centric real-time systems.

This is a front-facing role requiring direct engagement with our customers and key internal senior stakeholders. You'll need to lead working groups conducting technical arbitration between subsystems and security teams and the constraints they place on the system design.

The Role

You'll be responsible for defining, stabilizing and maintaining the solution architecture for bids and projects throughout their lifecycle.

  • Defining innovative technical solutions that meet customer requirements and are compliant with the business' product/system technical strategy
  • Analysing architectural and technical choices to ensure the best trade-off between customer requirements, technical solutions, cost and risk

Key responsibilities include:

  • Leading technical discussions with customers on issues including evolutions to the solution baseline
  • Stabilizing and maintaining the solution architecture throughout its lifecycle in cooperation with other teams
  • Ensuring the solution architecture is optimized to address real needs through exploration of the solution space, definition of architectural concepts, and related trade-offs

We're seeking someone with:

  • 10+ years' experience in similar positions on projects delivering complex software-centric real-time systems
  • Experience in Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) and architectural frameworks e.g. Arcadia and NAF (mandatory)
  • Demonstrated experience in designing secure solution architectures in line with security standards and policies e.g. ISM
  • Ability to manage various stakeholders having different objectives
  • Proven ability to work in a multi-cultural environment and with a variety of international customers
