Job Opportunity

We are seeking an exceptional leader to join our team as a State Operations Manager.

The successful candidate will be accountable for our Supply Chain Operations in Victoria, Tasmania, and South Australia.

You will lead a sizeable operational workforce across the regions to ensure safe, compliant, and efficient liquid fuel storage and distribution operations.

Additionally, you will oversee the management of our joint-venture operations in Hobart and South Australia.

Key Responsibilities:

Ensure regulatory obligations are fulfilled, manage operational hazards and risk, and maintain the integrity of our Health, Safety, Security, and Environment (HSSE) management system.

Liaise and communicate with regulators, government authorities, emergency services, and the local community regarding ongoing operational activities.

Provide leadership to improvement initiatives targeting operational excellence, asset utilisation, organisational structure, facility cost rates, and customer service.

Support site asset management strategies, developing and implementing longer-term infrastructure improvements.

Identify, develop, and nurture talent within the team, promoting diversity and long-term capability.

Requirements:

A proven leader of teams within a Supply Chain/operational environment, with a passion for supporting team development.

Experience working with tank storage and pipeline processes is highly desirable.

Able to drive improvement initiatives through effective project management.

Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to travel to operational facilities as required.
