About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Cloud Reliability Engineer to join our team at WooliesX. As a key member of our cloud infrastructure team, you will be responsible for ensuring the reliability, availability, and performance of our critical digital services and systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and maintain scalable and resilient cloud applications and infrastructure
  • Establish and uphold Service Level Objectives (SLOs) to ensure high-quality service delivery
  • Automate processes to improve efficiency and reduce downtime
  • Conduct performance analysis and cost analysis to optimize cloud resources
  • Respond swiftly to incidents and minimize downtime
Requirements
  • Strong demonstrable experience working with technical delivery teams of up to 10+ people
  • Strong knowledge of cloud infrastructure and integration across enterprise platforms
  • Experience implementing SRE practices and influencing engineers and product owners to prioritize reliability
  • Ability to debug, optimize code, and automate routine tasks
  • Strong experience with SRE Practices, Dev Sec Ops, Observability Platforms, Automation Tools, and Platforms
  • Experience with Cloud Native Application Development, Relational & Document Databases, and Service Integration Patterns
Preferred Technologies
  • Cloud: Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud Platform
  • Code:.NET Core, C#
  • Knowledge in Powershell, Bash, Node JS, Go Lang
  • Databases: No SQL (Mongo DB, Cosmos DB, and/or Elastic Search), Redis
  • CI: Azure Dev Ops
  • Infrastructure: Kubernetes, Terraform
  • Observability: App Insights, Dynatrace, Azure Log Analytics
