About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Software Engineer to join our Platform Engineering team at the Commonwealth Bank of Australia. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing, building, and deploying scalable and secure APIs using.NET technologies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain robust, scalable APIs using.NET technologies, ensuring high performance and reliability.
  • Design, build, and deploy applications on AWS Kubernetes platform, with a focus on scalability and resilience.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including AI/ML experts, to gather requirements and ensure seamless integration of APIs with AI-powered systems and other platforms.
  • Implement security measures and best practices to protect APIs, data, and AI models from potential threats.
  • Utilize Kafka messaging system to enable real-time data streaming, event-driven architecture, and AI-driven insights.
  • Optimize API performance by implementing caching, load balancing, and AI-based predictions or recommendations.
  • Collaborate with the DevOps team to automate deployment processes, ensuring continuous integration and delivery, and seamless AI model deployment.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in.NET and API development.
  • Experience with AI and machine learning technologies, including model integration and Cloud-based deployment.
  • Familiarity with AWS, Kubernetes, Kafka, and DevOps practices.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex systems.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
