About the Role

We are seeking experienced Disability Support Workers to join our team. As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals with complex care needs, including those with physical and neurological disabilities. Your primary responsibility will be to provide high-quality care and support, enabling our participants to achieve their goals and live independently.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide individualized support to participants with complex care needs, including manual handling and transfers.
  • Assist participants with daily living activities, such as personal care, meal preparation, and medication management.
  • Develop and implement personalized care plans, in collaboration with participants, their families, and other healthcare professionals.
  • Monitor and report any changes in participants' health or well-being, ensuring timely interventions and referrals.
  • Work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to ensure seamless care coordination and communication.
Requirements
  • Cert III in Disability Services or 12 months of experience in a similar role.
  • NDIS Worker Screening Check.
  • NDIS Orientation module (NDIS Quality Safety & You).
  • Working with Children Check (for participants under 18 years).
  • Driver's Licence.
  • Car Insurance.
  • Reliable vehicle.
  • Availability for sleepover shifts.
  • At least 1 year of experience as a Disability Support Worker in the NDIS sector.
  • Current CPR and First Aid certification.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in acquired brain injury.
  • Experience in mental health.
  • Non-smoker.
