Delivering Results as a Project Manager

This role is key to ensuring Defence vessel programs are completed on time and meet contractual requirements. The successful candidate will lead the project team in achieving project objectives while maintaining quality and adhering to safety standards.

  • Foster a high-performing team capable of delivering projects within budget, schedule, and quality parameters that exceed customer expectations.
  • Develop and implement an effective project management methodology and tools to drive project success.
  • Establish a compliant Earned Value Management System (EVMS) to ensure accurate tracking and reporting.
  • BUILD and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.

To excel in this position, you will require:

  • Significant project management experience, particularly in performance-based contracting.
  • A proven track record in managing Defence or Commercial contracts.
  • Experience working in the Shipbuilding/Repair Industry.
  • Certification in a recognized project management discipline.
  • Demonstrated expertise in ship management.
  • A degree or trade qualification in a maritime-related field.
