Senior Community Resilience Manager

Our team seeks a seasoned expert to lead the development and implementation of strategic community recovery plans. This involves collaborating with local stakeholders, partner agencies, and communities to prepare for, respond to, and recover from disaster events.
Key Responsibilities- Design and implement event-specific recovery strategies in collaboration with local partners.
- Develop partnerships with communities and local services to enhance preparedness and response capabilities.
- Provide strategic advice and support to senior leaders on community recovery initiatives.
- Maintain established practices, processes, and policies to optimize disaster response efforts.
- Analyse disaster events to inform service improvements.
- Experience in community building, resilience planning, and disaster recovery.
- Strong stakeholder engagement and relationship-building skills.
- Able to work independently and collaboratively in a dynamic environment.
This role requires a unique blend of expertise and interpersonal skills. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of leading successful community recovery initiatives and possess excellent communication and project management skills.
