This is a great opportunity for a passionate and skilled individual to join our team as a Bushland Regenerator.

The successful candidate will work five days a week, leading to a permanent full-time position.

The key selection criteria include:

  • Field experience in bushland restoration and weed control techniques.
  • Demonstrable indigenous and exotic plant identification skills.
  • Broad knowledge of indigenous species.
  • A genuine interest in native flora and fauna.
  • An understanding of occupational health and safety principles and practices.
  • Working knowledge of herbicides and their use.
  • A valid manual driver's license essential (must be competent at manual driving).
  • A Construction Induction White Card must be obtained before commencing work.
  • A high level of physical fitness.
  • A working knowledge of Microsoft suite and tablet-based mapping applications.
  • Safe operation and maintenance of chainsaws.
  • Working at heights training.
  • Four-wheel drive training/experience.
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications in Natural Resource Management or similar fields.

The ideal candidate will possess a demonstrated work ethic, excellent communication skills, the ability to work effectively in a team, and a willingness and desire to continually improve their skills and knowledge in habitat restoration and weed control techniques.
