Job Title: Respiratory Care Specialist

This position plays a vital role in empowering lives through patient-centered care and advocacy.

The ideal candidate will possess a Degree in Social Work with eligibility for membership of the Australian Association of Social Work (AASW) and demonstrate a strong understanding of psychosocial issues associated with acute and chronic illness.

Responsibilities will include providing counseling and case management to patients and families, as well as supporting end-of-life care and complex discharge issues.

This is an opportunity to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team and contribute to the delivery of high-quality patient care.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Qualification: Degree in Social Work with eligibility for membership of the Australian Association of Social Work (AASW)
  • Psychosocial Understanding: Demonstrated understanding of psychosocial issues associated with acute and chronic illness
  • Counseling and Case Management: Demonstrated capacity to provide counseling and case management to patients and families
  • Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Time Management: Demonstrated ability to manage time effectively and prioritize tasks
