Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Cabinet Technician to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who lives and breathes power and has a passion for assembling, wiring, testing, and commissioning custom DC UPS cabinets.

The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and building custom DC UPS cabinets that convert AC to DC to DC, ensuring the highest quality and reliability. They will work closely with engineers, project managers, and production teams to deliver high-quality solutions that meet customer expectations.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Wiring and assembling industrial DC power cabinets to custom specifications
  • Installing UPS, battery banks, and AC/DC/DC conversion equipment
  • Reading electrical schematics, layout diagrams & scopes of work
  • Conducting quality checks and functional testing

Requirements:

  • Cert III or higher in Electrotechnology / Electrical Fitting
  • Experience with DC systems or industrial switchboards/cabinets
  • Ability to read and interpret wiring diagrams
  • Hands-on, tools, test equipment, and soldering skills
  • High attention to detail
